Murray’s craft Brewing Co is one of the Australia’s leading brewer where brewing unique and off- beat naturally crafted beer, restaurant and cellar door since 2006. We are based on Port Stephens in regional NSW and we have achieved a bunch of awards and accolades including Australia’s Brewer of the Year.

Murrays craft Brewing co shares its home with Port Stephens Winery, the regions oldest vineyard. Showcasing beer, wine, dining facilities in restaurant and cellar door all of them together is quite a natural things for us. Bringing all together in a great tourist location seemed like a great way to provide visitors with a wide variety of teste sensations. 

Murry’s craft is excited to offer a full-time position at Bob’s firm, Port Stephens office for a friendly, organized, experienced, skilled and diligent team member to fill the role of General Accounting position.


Duties and Responsibilities of the General Accountant:

Preparing and controlling company’s financial reports including cash flow statements, payroll statement, profit and loss statements, annual report and other financial statement.
Managing the company accounting system
Assisting director with companies accounting policies and budgeting forecast
Managing and advising to directors on business future project, operation and fund management in conjunction with company’s financial institution.
Preparation of financial reports and analyze for management and to comply statutory requirements
Reporting to management of internal reports for stock reconciliation, sales, cash flows, accounts receivable and payable and projection.
Preparing internal audit report
Preparation of BAS, GST and FBT returns
Evaluation the cost effectiveness and cost control
Maintaining and implementing internal control system
Supporting the maintenance of the payroll system and associate task for more than 30 staffs
Oversight of accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliation statements
Ensuring compliance with statutory reporting obligation
General Administrative support to the director  
Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting


You will need to have:

Australian bachelor or above accounting qualifications
Minimum three year of prior experience
Experience in MYOB, Xero, and Microsoft Office.
Strong Organisational, administrative, interpersonal skills.
Excellence oral and written communication skills.
Attention to details
Maintain up to date information on accounting and tax standards


Salary range $65k-$80K based on skill
