About the role

\n\n


\nUGL have an opening for a EUC Device Management Specialist to be located in our client’s office at Endeavour Energy in Huntingwood. The primary purpose of the role is to design, develop, deploy, manage, and maintain the Technology catalogue and Standard Operating Environment (SOE) for all endpoint devices and associated hardware and software and to be the key EUC SME resource working with the Technology Delivery Group and multiple stakeholders, vendors, and partners for EUC related initiatives within Endeavour Energy.

\nThis role will also be a Senior Mentor to the EUC 1st and 2nd level team members and will provide guidance, support and coaching with a primary objective to improve the overall customer experience and have incidents and requests resolved in the timeliest manner. 

\n\n


\nDue to the nature of work performed by the end users of Endeavour Energy, this role may also be required for after-hours activities (incl weekends) from time to time to assist with either major incidents resolution and / or project delivery implementations.

\n\n


\nThe role requires on-site support and is based on a casual contract for 12 months. 

\n\n

Key Responsibilities: 

\n\n

•    Executes activities and relevant service management processes to meet agreed Service Levels Objectives (SLOs) and ITIL best practices. 
\n•    Creates, develops, and maintains Endeavour Energy’s standard operating environment (SOE including operating system, common applications base layers and platforms) for use on authorised devices and virtual environments. 
\n•    Identifies, analyses and tests upgrades, security updates and patches before inclusion in the SOE.
\n•    Implements defined processes and standards to maintain the stability, security, quality, and useability of the SOE. 
\n•    Evaluates and proposes endpoint devices for inclusion on the Technology catalogue based on whole of life costs and business requirements. 
\n•    Develops and maintains the Technology end-user hardware catalogue of desktop, laptop, tablet, displays and other endpoint devices.

About you

\n\n


\nTo be successful in this role you will have a high proficiency in Information Technology and the ability to work with a dispersed business team and provide support to the end user. You will also have the following: 

\n\n


\n•    Bachelor's Degree in Computer science or related field of study and a minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar role. 
\n•    Relevant Industry Certifications such as ITIL, SCCM and TOGAF.
\n•    Specialist level experience working with Microsoft Modern Workplace solutions, including Windows 10, Enterprise Mobility + Security and Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune and SCCM).
\n•    Specialist level experience in SOE Management and Windows Operating System Deployment using SCCM Task sequences. Must have experience with Windows as a Service (WaaS) servicing model.
\n•    Highly developed interpersonal skills, with the proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people internally and externally.
