Your new role

The Senior Lawyer, based in Adelaide, will be part of a regional team responsible for delivering legal services to the agency

Using your ability to quickly acquire knowledge of applicable Australian workplace laws, you will provide legal advice and assistance to ABCC Inspectors during their investigations, assist in the preparation of compulsory examinations, assessing briefs of evidence and managing and/or conducting litigation commenced before relevant courts and tribunals.

Your written and verbal communications skills are highly developed, and your exemplary organisational skills allow you to meet tight deadlines and effectively manage varying workloads.

If you have the ability to analyse cases and develop legal advice, manage and/or conduct litigation autonomously, we encourage you to apply.

You must be admitted as a legal practitioner with a minimum of five (5) years’ post admission experience (PAE).

Experience in litigation, employment law/workplace relations, particularly within a regulatory environment would be highly regarded.
