The role

IOOF is one of Australia’s leading Wealth Management organisations, undertaking a rapid and exciting transformation. We are a strong and resilient business and despite the current difficult Covid related climate, are investing in supporting our people to onboard and connect them remotely to ensure their safety and wellbeing are paramount. It is in this context that we are looking for a Financial Planning Assistant.

Working closely with the Financial Advisers, this role will see you providing high level administrative support including but not limited to scheduling client meetings, preparing documents for client reviews, diary management, administering online client surveys, maintaining client records and other general administrative tasks.

As a client facing role, you will also need to build and maintain relationships with new and existing clients and respond to general client queries and requests in line with agreed service delivery standards. In addition, you will need to liaise with key stakeholders to ensure all client tasks are completed within set time frames

This is a busy role and to be successful, you will need to be hard working, resilient and committed to delivering positive outcomes for clients and colleagues.

Your Previous Experience Must Consist Of The Following

- Previous experience in a similar role within the financial services industry
- A focus on providing quality client service with high attention to detail at all times
- Well presented, punctual and professional
- Pro-active, positive nature with a high level of initiative
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional time management and organisational skills
- Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite
