From initially locating suitable land and partnering with landowners, they take projects through engineering design, planning approval, grid connection, financing & investment stages and into construction and operation.

The company brings together industry leaders with a strong track record in the development and construction  of large-scale renewable energy projects. The team have collectively developed multiple  renewable energy projects across Australia, Europe and the Pacific Region and are specialists in the land use, planning, engineering, energy and finance sectors.
The Role:
The Construction Manager must assist the Project Manager with the successful delivery of the Project and efficient management of the Project’s affairs, in particular:
  • Supervising Superintendents in the monitoring construction progress and continuously reviewing the program;
  • ensuring the Project is delivered in accordance with the Budget;
  • ensure proper and efficient interface between design and construction; and
  • regularly liaise with the Quality Manager to ensure the Project’s quality compliance;
  • regularly liaise with the HSE Manager to ensure the Project’s HSE compliance.
The Construction Manager will manage all upstream and downstream contract administration activities, the procurement function and will oversee all legal and contractual claims, commitments and related activities under the supervision of the Project Manager.  The Project Manager retains responsibility for all such matters. 

The Construction Manager will:
  • develop the procurement strategy in cooperation with Procurement Manager and Planner;
  • define staff mobilization/demobilization along with Project Manager;
  • support Project Manager to prepare monthly financial reporting in cooperation with the Cost Controller and Planner;
  • lead the monthly and weekly meetings with subcontractors.
  • Support the PM to prepare the weekly and monthly reports as per the EPC contract reporting.
  • provide monthly reports on:
  • on status of any contractual claims working in coordination with planner and contract/commercial manager;
  • the status of subcontractor and major supply commercial status in coordination with Logistic Manager and Procurement Manager.
  • the progress of the Works, including any significant events and matters regarding the EPC Contract
  • develop the design and construction strategy;
  • liaise with Key Personnel to understand safety and quality issues, human and plant resourcing requirements and environmental matters in relation to the Site and the Works and report to the Project Director on such matters;
  • Approve the subcontractor´s invoices once they have been reviewed by Superintendents;
  • Along with the Superintendents and Planner Manager, review the performance and compare it with the program of works;
  • Support in the preparation of the monthly Payment Application with all the supportive documentation.
