Monash Health is excited to announce a new position in our expanding NDIS Program. The new Senior Occupational Therapist must have experience working with adults with psychosocial disabilities. Experience working with NDIS participants is desirable but not essential.

The Senior Occupational Therapist will join our small team of allied health professionals who work in the NDIS program. They will be offered supervision and mentorship by other Senior Clinicians and have ongoing support from Monash Health's large network of Occupational Therapists.

We are excited to announce a new Senior Occupational Therapy position within our Adult NDIS Program.

In this newly created Senior Clinician position, the successful applicant will work closely with the Adult Program Team Leader and Program manager to ensure the provision of safe and effective care as well as to provide leadership and support to more junior Occupational Therapists within the program.

The caseload will consist of NDIS participants who have psychosocial disabilities. The Senior Clinician will be responsible for completing a range of assessments (standardised and non-standardised), writing reports for the NDIS (including functional capacity assessments and housing reports), and developing and implementing intervention plans to support the participants to achieve their NDIS goals.

This is a full-time ongoing role, working across the Monash Health Cranbourne, Springvale and Pakenham catchment areas. Part-time applicants will be considered for this role.

    • What You Need:

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapist or Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or equivalent
  • Current general registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – Occupational Therapy, with no restrictions.
  • NDIS Worker Screening clearance
  • Current Victorian driver’s license
  • Well Consolidated clinical experience (Minimum 7 years) 
  • Minimum 4 years experience working with people with complex mental health needs
  • Holds or is progressing towards higher qualification in Occupational Therapy or Disability (Desirable) 
  • Australian working rights
