Senior Sales Development Representative Senior Sales Development Representative Senior Sales Development Representative Req ID FY|S&M|#3 Location(s) Melbourne, Australia; Work arrangement(s) Hybrid (works from home and New Relic office throughout the week) Your opportunity Our Senior Sales Development Executive team is growing, which means there are new opportunities to get into SaaS tech sales.There really couldn't be a better time to join our world-class Sales Development team that's continuing to drive huge growth in a region that's showing no signs of slowing down.New Relic is looking for outstanding Senior Sales Development Representatives to keep up with the ever-growing demand for New Relic's Observability platform.The Senior Sales Development Representatives hold a significant position at the top and middle of the sales funnel for New Relic.As a Senior SDR, you'll work with Sales Executives to develop pipeline opportunities, which will require you to think creatively to be successful!The successful Senior SDRs are the talent pipeline for our sales executive team, so you'll receive extraordinary product and sales training to set you up for success.We're looking for folks who love to seek and address real business problems, as well as having a strong curiosity about advancing their career in SaaS and tech sales. What you'll do
  • Research accounts, identifying key initiatives and partners to approach
  • Articulate the New Relic business value proposition to decision-makers and assess business needs
  • Prospect, qualify and develop a robust sales pipeline to achieve your quarterly objectives
  • Conduct high-level conversations with senior-level executives
  • This role requires
  • At least years experience in SaaS sales, recruitment, or business development roles.
  • Proficient in prospecting activities, lead follow-up and cold-calling
  • Hunger and ambition to win
  • Growth mindset – willing to take creative risks and self-reflect for improvement
  • Ability to work in a time-sensitive and high-volume environment
  • Confidence and accountability to maintain positive relationships with Account Executives
  • Experience using or other CRM
  • Bonus points if you have
  • Familiar with sales methodologies such as Command Of The Message SPIN, Challenger, MEDDIC, Sandler, etc
  • Industry certifications or bachelor's degree
