What will your typical day look like?
As a Senior Biosecurity Compliance Officer , a typical day will include the effective and efficient delivery of compliance activities, investigations, education and community awareness programs relating to biosecurity. You will also assist and mentor teams to ensure they comply with operational policies, procedures, and protocols.
As a Supervising Biosecurity Compliance Officer , you will manage and lead the effective delivery of biosecurity investigations and compliance activities. You will also lead the proactive development of operational policies, procedures and protocols to drive compliance.

Am I eligible to apply?
To be eligible for a permanent appointment to the Western Australian public sector you must be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status in Australia. To be eligible for a fixed term or a casual appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period as part of your application.

Special Requirements for this position:
This pool will be valid for a period of twelve (12) months following finalisation of the process and may be used to fill permanent and fixed term, full time and part time opportunities that may arise in this period.
