As CLM Communications Specialist, you will design and deliver highly-engaging and commercially-impactful campaigns to Vodafone customers using eDM, SMS and push notifications. To be successful in this role, you’ll have natural flair for creativity and copywriting; have built strong foundations in customer or direct marketing; be a strategic thinker that can also sweat the small stuff; show strong collaboration and communication skills; thrive in a fast-paced environment where pivoting for success is the norm.
Responsibilities and tasks:
End-to-end campaign management of complex and highly-personalised eDM, SMS and MMS campaigns to the Vodafone customer databases. Communications and message planning, copywriting, email layout/design/build, stakeholder management/approvals, campaign testing, reporting and optimisations. Collaboration with CLM Planning Managers and Campaign Operations teams to ensure communications are relevant for customers and aligned with database segmentation and CTA/journeys. Partnering with other Vodafone SME’s (Brand, Product, Devices, Pricing, Legal, Digital) and external partners (Apple, Samsung, nbn™) to ensure communications are aligned and compliant across all business functions. Day-to-day management of external vendors. Support other CLM Communications Specialists with testing and proofing to ensure zero defects prior to campaign deployment.
Knowledge, experience, and skills:
3 to 5+ years’ experience in a customer, direct or email marketing communications role, either in a large B2C consumer or B2B company. Proven ability to create highly-engaging and commercially-successful 1:1 communications (with emphasis on eDM channel) that showcase best-practice creative and copy techniques. Demonstrated experience of using data-driven opportunities to conduct creative, copy and eDM layout experiments that improved conversions. Innovative and keen to think out of the box in a pragmatic and systematic approach. Natural curiosity for consumer behaviour and proven ability in translating this into creative. solutions that drive conversion. Top-class organisational skills and attention to detail. A genuine team player with excellent stakeholder management skills. Resilient self-starter that works well under pressure and tight deadlines. Experience with Responsys SAS 360i email build software (or similar) preferred. Some graphic design/Adobe Photoshop experience highly desirable. Experience working with the Agile, Jira and Confluence will be a plus.
