Working within a start-up culture that’s backed by all the resources Australia Post provides, the opportunity to innovate and push boundaries to improve services for all Australians is ready and waiting.What does the role involve?The Customer Insights Analytics team in the Chief Marketing Office is responsible for building and generating robust, data led, customer, segment and market insights that help inform marketing strategies, campaigns and Segment Development plans. The Analytics team has accountability for analysis of current and potential customers – their interactions with Australia Post and their behaviours – with the end goal to find and drive new customer and market opportunities for Australia Post.The Senior Insights Analyst will utilise Google Cloud Platform to query large complex customer data assets across the Australia Post business that allow for the development of actionable analytical insights. Contribute in developing and maintain customer behavioural analysis designed to identifying linkage, data patterns, trends from both quantitative and qualitative data.What are the key responsibilities? Contribute to the development of the Enterprise strategy by establishing the levers that drive customer growth, advocacy and commercial performance across all segments, product groups and channelsAssist in addressing enterprise-wide marketing issues including supporting marketing prioritisation, customer targeting and ROIAnalyses large, multi-dimensional datasets identifying actionable insights and recommendationsUtilises data analysis platforms and tools, including advanced database querying (SQL) - GCP preferredWork with the Customer Insights team to provide actionable insights that guide the development of marketing strategiesAssist in translating data (e.g. market and competitor trends and dynamics, cost analysis, profitability analysis) into strategic opportunities What are we looking for? Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or other quantitative disciplinesExperience in Analytics / Customer Insights role within a large corporate and/or agencyExperience with database querying (SQL)Can quickly convert detailed business requirements into clear and comprehensive solution designsExperience collecting, integrating, standardising and optimising complex, large, and varied data sets for analysisExperience managing stakeholders and providing timely and appropriate communication and status updatesStrong verbal & written communication skills, including presentations for executive managementHighly developed conceptual thinking and organisational problem-solving skills with proven ability to analyse complex problems, identify critical issues and develop strategies for delivering solutions We believe investing our people is good business.
