This role will support the delivery of TPG Telecom Limited’s commercial strategy through the effective management of the Vodafone customer base. You will be part of a highly motivated team and a customer transformation program working on interesting and difficult problems. As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for the delivery of our next best action campaign analysis and customer insights with commercial outcomes.

What you work on will have a direct impact on shaping the future of Vodafone customers, and will help shape key business decisions and activities. You will have a strong quantitative or technical background with experience working with large datasets and solving tough problems. You will be a highly intelligent self-starter, with a bias towards action and attention to detail, able to turn information into actionable insights

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

- Analysing large, complex datasets to reveal underlying patterns, correlations, and trends.
- Examine customer behaviour using internal & external datasets to design and develop analytical models and their optimisation.
- Drive analytics & business cases to come up with new ideas for promotions and campaigns to change the current behaviour by ensuring usage uplift and upgrading packages.
- Investigating performance of current products and translate insights into specific improvement suggestions & new feature proposals.
- Provide Insights and analysis on customer behaviours across the different customer lifecycle stages, report on campaign effectiveness and its impact to overall revenues and subscribers.
- Leveraging quantitative techniques to answer complex ad-hoc business problems.
- Drive and support financial/commercial modelling to inform business decisions.
- Business case development, financial modelling, and commercial analysis in relation to key projects and growth initiatives. Regularly update stakeholders on findings and insights to provide business strategy.
- Support the team with budgeting and forecasting.
- Representing CLM in external forums.
- Responsible for stakeholder management across TPG Telecom’s functions on the visibility of customer insights & campaign performance that drive growth in the customer base.

What We Need

-  Bachelor\'s Degree in a STEM subject or equivalent and 3-4+ years of relevant experience in solving large analytical problems using statistical, predictive analytical models or other quantitative methods.; including CRM related work.
- Exceptional analytical skills: in data manipulation (inc. SQL), development of financial models, commercial analysis. Phyton or R a plus
- Demonstrated experience working with large datasets, understanding data structures, testing for data quality is essential, ideally via SQL database interrogation and distributed computing;
- Data visualizations tools like Qlik, Tableau would be a plus.
- Ability to translate high level business problems into objective, concise and logical requirements and present them to influence the business.
- Highly flexible, ability to handle changing directions/priorities and roles as business needs evolve
- Proven problem-solving skills; systematic, analytical thinker with strong communication skills
- Good team working attitude with the ability to work proactively under own initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Commercial mindset and keen interest in telecommunications industry with a strong sense of ownership and gets things done, proactive attitude.
- Strong stakeholder management skills including the ability to advise and manage your projects autonomously.
- Good understanding of both the commercial and the tech side, which will enable you to proactively identify business use-cases, and to understand and work around tech constraints.
- A passion for data and analytics & high attention to detail.
- Effective presentation skills.
