The role As a Senior Engineer, you are responsible for all project areas in Engineering & Global Infrastructure Services. You are expected to have good practical understanding of technology, its application and be involved in implementation, integrated testing, debugging and documentation. You are also expected to be a Technical SME, and handle Project Effort Estimation Related Activities, process compliance as well as manage other areas of each project. To be successful in this role you will bring: High level of understanding in Engineer Network Services Voice.Provide monitoring and support services for Voice Networks.Be responsible for Managed services for high calibre client project.Consistently deliver by partnering closely with business and project leaders to understand the business vision and strategy, and translate that into a engineering vision and strategyDeliver the best-in-class project experience to our customers’, through close collaboration with our engineering leads, engineers and infrastructure teamsUnderstand user data and behaviours and define new features that will meet the needs of our clients, consumers and the Wipro business To help us level up, you'll ideally have:5+ years experience in understanding and working on Voice , Video LAN & WAN Networks.Expert level of troubleshooting and understanding on Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Unified Presence Server and other VoIP infrastructure.Strong knowledge of Cisco CUBE or any other SBC.Able to perform Voice Infrastructure design, implementation diagnosis and troubleshooting till resolution.Trouble shooting and understanding on Cisco Call Manager and VoIP infrastructure in terms of integration with Video infrastructure.Basic knowledge and hands-on experience on Cisco Video elements including Cisco MSE 8000, Cisco Telepresence Management Suite, Cisco ISDN Gateway, Cisco VCS C- & E, Cisco Telepresence, Cisco CODECs, Tandberg Video conference units, Audio/Video devices and first and second level of diagnostics on issues.Ensure the design, provisioning, upgrading, capacity planning and performance tuning/testing of network.Produce network diagram, technical documentation, test plans, reports and records regarding infrastructure solutions.Maintain and ensure current SLA & KPIs requirements for support.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Experience of working with global clients and worked in at least one Transition/Managed services project. If you only meet some of the requirements for this role, that's okay…We value a diverse range of backgrounds & ideas and believe this is fundamental for our future success. So, if you have the curiosity to learn and the willingness to teach what you know, we'd love to hear from you. Bonus points if you have experience with:Ability to identify and worked on core Voice components.Basic knowledge of MS Teams.Understanding theoretical concepts in SIP Trunk, H.323 Trunk & H.246 Trunks.Understanding of Ticketing Tool like ,Service Now, BMC Remedy.Experience creating new tickets, modify/update tickets, and assign tickets to various queues.Experience performing IP Address management.Experience with 2nd and 3rd level network support on incidents and contribute to provide RCA.
